Northampton entrepreneur Richard Osborne saw his business, Quick™ Formations, take the East Midlands E-Commerce awards by storm last night with a greatly sought after award win and came highly commended in two other categories.
Quick™ Formations beat off stiff competition to win the Best Customer Care award and was highly commended in the categories of, Best Sales & Marketing Online and Best Use of Broadband. The awards ceremony was held at Colwick Hall in Nottingham and Dominic Heale from BBC East Midlands Today made the presentations.
The award win means that Quick™ Formations now goes through to the national finals that are being held on 6th October at Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
Speaking about the win and commendations Richard Osborne commented,
"We strive hard to ensure that Quick™ Formations offers the best level of service possible to our customers and to win the award for this category and get highly commended in two other areas shows the business is definitely moving in the right direction".
Richard started Quick™ Formations from his house in 2003 and has never looked back. The company is about to move into bigger offices at Moulton Park Office Village in Northampton in order to manage its increasing volumes of business.
These most recent awards add to the company’s previous wins including 2004 East Midlands E-Commerce Award, finalists in the National Business Awards 2004 and two Highly Commended awards in the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards in 2004.
The East Midlands E-Commerce Awards look across the entire region for the best examples of the use of the Internet and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from small and medium sized businesses to large enterprise and the public sector.
